Traversing Between Worlds

The gummi ship touched down on the outskirts of the town out of the way of view so as to not be seen. A girl in a black hood emerged from the ship and onto the streets of town, looking around for a place to stock up on supplies. She wore a light black dress beneath the cloak that was cut off just passed her waist. The hood had been drawn down to keep the top half of her face covered. She had been on a long journey just to reach this world and still had one last path to go before the true world she had been searching out could be reached. She smiled as her path was crossed by two children that seemed to be playing in the street and she kneeled down to get at eye level with them. She held out her hand as two pieces of candy shaped like skulls appeared on her palm. The children seemed to take them happily and run off without even a thank you. She found no trouble in this knowing how carefree one could be. She stood up straight and made her way over to a nearby thrift store. She barely spent time in there before she found the last items she was looking for and made her way back out onto the streets. She was stopped in her tracks when she heard the duel screamings of the children coming from the alley. She rushed there to find one of them out cold on the ground with a large wolf-like heartless stalking towards the other with glowing yellow eyes. The girl took no time as she moved with great speed, drawing her keyblade from thin air and striking down the heartless where it stood. Its body became limp as it fell to the ground, dissipating into thin air, releasing a glowing pink heart into the sky. The girl turned to the frighten child who was still backed up into the wall in fear and smiled, reaching out and rubbing his head. "Watch out, you could run into a lot of trouble out here if you aren't careful." She kneeled down to make sure the child who was outcold was alright and then stood back up as she heard the sounds of worry and running footsteps came towards the alley. The worried townsfolk arrived only to see the two children alone in the alleyway.The girl watched from above, stilling on the rooftop she had retreated to.

Once the coast had become clear Anaise dropped from the rooftop into the now empty alleyway. She looked around to make sure no one was around and pulled her hood back up above her face. She left the alley and into the busy street where everyone seemed to be conversing about the heartless from earlier. She could see a middleaged couple in front of the crowd with the two children from earlier that she had saved. She was happy to see they were both ok and then listened to what everyone was talking about. "This heartless problem is getting out of control!" One of the angry townspeople yelled with the others agreeing. "We need to do something about this before we lose everything to the beasts." The group nodded as they turned back to the woman standing at the head of the group. "We have all felt the effects of these monsters. There is just nothing we can do without a keyblade weilder in town." The way she spoke seemed to signify that she was in charge and Anaise listened with intent and curiosity. This was not the first world she visited that had been ravaged by the heartless. She wanted to help them but it would involve getting herself into an event that she had no business being in. This worlds arc point had yet to come and it was no business of hers to get caught up in such things. She began walking away before she felt a tug at the bottom of her cloak. She turned back to see it had been the younger child who had been knocked out by the heartless earlier. She smiled lightly and leaned down to hear what she had to say. "Please you have to help. You were the one who saved us earlier right?" Her eyes were filled with hope, a look that made it hard for Anaise to say no. The keyblade weilder let out a soft sigh and smiled rubbing the childs head and nodding. "I'll see what I can do." She winked and grinned,disappearing back into the jungle of the city.

Anaise followed the trail of the ever growing number of heartless to the third district of the town. She had ran into many different types of beasts in only the past hour of journey and it began to worry her about what could be causing such an abundance of heartless. She walked out into the square of the district with suspicion and curiosity. Although all of the other districts seemed riddled with heartless, this one had none in sight from what she had seen. Though there were no enemies, she drew her keyblade in case of a surprise attack. After a few minutes of searching it seemed that the entire area was clear. The calm was suddenly dispanded when a large portal of darkness appeared in the middle of the square. The portal seemed to give life to a large being who dwelled out of the darkness and into the view of the keyblade weilder. The darkness fell from it to reveal its figure as a large red and black golem-like heartless with piercing yellow eyes that seemed to search the area without cause until they fell upon her. The heartless let out a loud bellow as it suddenly charged her without another second of thought.

Anaise jumped into the air and unleashed a ruinga attack down at the golem. On impact the spell exploded and then imploded causing the heartless to cry out in anger, turning its fist into her. She held her keyblade to block it but the force sent her flying towards the wall. She quickly used her reaction to catch herself on her feet against the wall, charging more chaos in her keyblade. She made a quick leap before she could fall, unleashing her havoc strike ability on the heartless. Two of the three attacks were aimed at its head but when that had no effect she aimed her last one at the back of its right leg. This caused it to drop to one knee and she took no time to let it recover from her attack. She pierced the golem on its back, keeping her keyblade held in its back as she used impuluse, sending a ruin spell into its weaker inner body. The creature thrashed out wildly, throwing the keyblade weilder from its back with the force of it. Anaise landed on her back on the ground, her keyblade landing a few meters away from her. She gathered her head only to look up to see the golem raising its large fist to bring it down on her with great power.

Anaise managed to roll out of the way in time as the fist crashed down onto the concrete sending debris from the ground flying up from the impact. The keyblade weilder sighed with relief as she grabbed her keyblade from the ground and quickly made another series of strikes at the golem. She couldn't afford to let the heartless land a direct hit on her or it would be disasterous. Her next few strikes hit it from behind on the legs causing it to drop again. Now that she knew its weak points she was going to try and keep the upper hand. She leaped onto its back and pierced her keyblade into it once more, holding onto her keyblade tightly in case the creature thrashed out once more. Instead the golem suddenly crouched into a ball as its body became one solid sphere. Anaise jumped off with her keyblade as the golem started to roll. It kept a distance from her as it circled around her. She pointed her keyblade and launched a normal ruin spell between it and the ground which caused a large enough blast to draw it off course sending it crashing into a wall, turning the standing structure into a pile of rubble in seconds. She drew back and kept her keyblade in a defensive position as the golem emerged from the rubble with barely any damage shown though from its body expressions it was running out of energy fast from the beating it was taking.

Anaise made a circle around the golem. It may have been strong but it was still slow so she tried to use that against it. The heartless thrashed about as its fists were brought down on the streets causing the ground to shake from the impact. She used this chance to jump onto its back one more time. Piercing its back and using chaos impulse command to cause as much damage as she could before leaping from its back and landing only a few meters away from it. The heartless made one last wail in pain before it fell to the ground and dissipated, releasing a large heart into the skies. The keyblade weilder sighed with relief as her weapom disappeared. She too was beginning to run out of energy but she managed to beat the golem without taking much damage. Though her attention had been locked on the freed.heart as it floated upward, it was turned to the two children from earlier who were running towards her. She looked confused but smiled to see that they had come to thank her, having watch the entire fight from one of the upper streets. She said nothing but rubbed both of their heads with her hands. She made her way back to her ship, knowing she had done enough for this world to cause attention to herself. She could not stay any longer and minutes later she was on course for the world she had been yerning to return to, Arendelle.
